Transport
Each open transport document has it's own Transport window. This window gives you an overall view of the transport and lets you define the Expressions that assign values to the destination.
Transport Name and Modules
The name of the transport appears in the center of the 'Transport' window's title bar. The source and destination transport modules are shown in the top center of the window just below the transport name.
Source and Destination
The icon wells show the source and destination of the transport. The source is on the left and the destination is on the right. The names of the respective file and path or table and database, appear next to the coresponding well.
You can also select or change a Transport Type using the 'Choose Source' and 'Choose' destination' items in the 'transport' menu.
Source Columns
The 'Source Columns' shows the names and SRTransport's internal types for the transport source. More detailed information is available by double clicking in the source well or by choosing 'Show Source' from the 'Transport' menu.
Destination Columns and Expressions
The 'Destination Columns' shows the names and SRTransport's internal types for the transport destination. More detailed information is available by double clicking in the source well or by choosing 'Show Destination' from the 'Transport' menu. The 'Value Expression' area is where you assign values to the destination columns. Each destination column takes its value from the expression in the same row. Yoy can type directly into these fields or use 'Match by Name' or 'Functions' from the 'Transport' menu to enter the expressions.
Run Button
The 'Run' button opens the Transporter Room dialog where the actual execution of a transport happens.
Custom DataScript Button
The 'Custom' buton allows opens the Transport Customization window. |
